1940s Two Frocks Sewing Pattern – Draped & Gathered Bodices, Bust 42″

Two lovely 1940s frocks with different bodice treatments and a distinctive pointed centre-front panel.

View A features a softly draped belt which draws attention to the long, pointed front panel and emphasises the fitted line of the dress. View B has gathering at the shoulders, creating soft fullness through the bust and giving the bodice a slightly different shape.

Both versions have a one-piece back shaped with darts, together with skirt panels set either side of the pointed centre front.

The pattern is sized to fit a 42″ (107 cm) bust, 36″ (91 cm) waist and 45″ (114 cm) hip.
