1940s Halter Dress & Stole Sewing Pattern – Pleated Skirt

This vintage sewing pattern is for a halter dress with a fitted bodice, fixed halter strap and a full pleated skirt. A matching stole is also included.

The skirt has box pleats at the front and an inverted pleat at the centre back, while the dress fastens with a side placket. The matching stole is finished with a large pocket.

Suitable fabrics include cotton, linen and rayon or viscose, as well as similar light to medium-weight woven dress fabrics.

The pattern is drafted for a 38-inch bust and 32-inch waist and is best suited to an advanced beginner or intermediate sewer.
