1950s Chain Stitch Crochet Blouse Pattern – Bust 36″

Price range: £3.99 through £5.99

A 1950s crochet blouse worked entirely in chain stitch, creating a light, open texture with a neat fitted shape.

The finished blouse measures approximately 36″ (91 cm) around the bust, 19½” (49.5 cm) from shoulder to lower edge, with a 4½” (11.5 cm) sleeve seam.

You will need approximately 240 g of No. 20 crochet cotton, an old UK No. 3 steel crochet hook, 2 press studs and 12 buttons.

As vintage crochet hook sizes do not always correspond directly with modern sizing, I recommend checking your tension carefully when choosing a modern hook and cotton substitute.
