Vintage 1940s Lace Sweater Knitting Pattern for a 34-36 Inch Bust

Looking for a pretty 1940s sweater knitting pattern with authentic vintage styling. This
charming blouse-style jumper features delicate lace patterning and sweet puff sleeves,

The sweater is worked mainly on two needles, with the neckband knitted separately on
four needles. Originally designed in 2-ply fingering or Shetland wool, it fits a 34–36 inch
bust and measures approximately 18 inches from shoulder to hem, with 3-inch sleeves
at the seam.

The original pattern calls for approximately 3 oz (86g) of yarn, a pair each of No. 10
(3.25mm) and No. 8 (4mm) needles, plus a No. 10 (3.25mm) circular needle for the
neckband. Tension is 6.5 stitches and 9 rows to 1 inch measured over the lace pattern.
