1950s Skirted Swimsuit Sewing Pattern – French Halter Neck Bathing Suit Bust 36

A great swimsuit is all about the cut, and this 1950s French sewing pattern has plenty of it. The skirted design features a halter neckline, low back and shaped bust with a contrasting band detail, finished with a zip fastening at the back.

The original pattern is in French, and an English translation has been added to make the construction easier to follow.

Shown in a French Taille 44, approximately a 36-inch bust, the pattern can be graded up or down if required. Seam allowances are not included, so these will need to be added when cutting.

Designed for swimsuit Lycra or a similar stretch fabric, this is best suited to an intermediate sewer or someone already comfortable working from sewing patterns.
