1940s Dress Sewing Pattern – Roll Collar, Peplum & Three Styles

This late-1940s sewing pattern includes three different versions of a roll-collar dress.

View A has a button-front bodice extending to the waist, short sleeves and a gathered skirt.
View B adds a fitted peplum at the waist, changing the shape while retaining the main features of the dress.
View C has three-quarter length sleeves and a skirt arranged in soft pleats rather than gathers.

Suitable fabrics include silk, rayon or viscose, linen, cotton and fine lightweight woollens, depending on the version and finish you want.
