Tyrolean Sweater Knitting Pattern – Embroidered Floral Panels, Bust 32–35

This vintage knitting pattern is for a Tyrolean-style sweater with embroidered floral panels across the front.
The sweater is knitted in 3-ply wool, with the coloured embroidery added after the knitting is complete. The pattern includes the floral motif needed to recreate the decoration. The original transfer is no longer available, but an alternative method is provided.
Two sizes are included, to fit 32–33 and 34–35-inch busts.
You will need approximately 8 oz (226 g) of white 3-ply wool, together with small amounts of coloured yarn for the embroidery.
The pattern uses old UK No. 10 and No. 12 needles, and a conversion chart is included for modern equivalents.
To fit bust: 32–33 and 34–35 inches.
