Twin Set Sweater & Cardigan Knitting Pattern – Bust 32–36

This vintage knitting pattern is for a simple twin set comprising a sweater and matching cardigan, both worked mainly in stocking stitch.

Originally knitted in Bairns-Wear Femina Botany Fingering 3-ply, the pattern uses old UK No. 9 and No. 12 needles.

If you would prefer to use a modern 4-ply yarn, work a tension square first and choose your yarn and needles according to the stated tension rather than relying on yarn weight alone.

The tension is 7 stitches to one inch.

Three sizes are included, to fit bust measurements of 32, 34 and 36 inches.

To fit bust: 32–36 inches.
