1960s Collarless Double-Breasted Coat Sewing Pattern – Bust 38

This 1960s sewing pattern is for a collarless, double-breasted coat with cut-on sleeves and a concealed pocket set into the front seam.

The sleeves can be made either full length or shorter at around quarter length, and the coat can also be finished with optional fur trim or worn with a scarf.

Fabric choice can change the character of the coat considerably. Woollens, tweed, coating and bouclé work well for an everyday or winter version, while a lighter brocade could be used to make an evening coat.

The pattern is drafted for a 38-inch bust and 31-inch waist.
