1960s French Cropped Jumpsuit Sewing Pattern – Square Neck, Bust 36–37

This vintage French sewing pattern is for a semi-fitted jumpsuit with cropped legs, a front zip and square necklines at both the front and back.

The back is shaped with two darts, while the front has side bust darts and pleats at the bust line, creating a slightly relaxed waist. A matching tie belt can be used to draw the jumpsuit in at the waist.

Suitable woven fabrics include cotton, linen, chambray and shantung.

The pattern is drafted for a 36–37 inch bust and 28-inch waist.

As with many French patterns of this period, seam allowances are not included and must be added when cutting out. Full guidance on adding the required seam allowances is provided.
