This 1950s knitted wiggle dress has a crossover front and fancy rib pattern, creating a fitted shape through the bodice and skirt.
The dress can be made with either short or long sleeves, giving you two versions from the same pattern. The finished length is approximately 47 inches and can be adjusted if you prefer a shorter or longer dress.
Originally designed for fine yarn, the pattern can be worked in 3-ply or fingering weight yarn. A suitable 4-ply may also be used provided you can achieve the stated tension.
The pattern is designed to fit up to a 36-inch bust and 40-inch hip.
To fit: Bust up to 36 inches, hip 40 inches.
