1950s Square Neck Summer Dress Sewing Pattern – Patch Pockets

A lovely 1950s summer dress with a wide square neckline, broad shoulder straps and a softly gathered skirt. A matching belt draws in the waist, giving the dress its characteristic fitted shape while leaving plenty of ease through the skirt.

Large patch pockets add a practical detail to the front and are finished with buttons, echoed by buttoned tabs at the shoulders.
