1950s Angora Cape Stole Knitting Pattern | Vintage One-Size Wrap

Price range: £3.99 through £5.99

This 1956 cape stole knitting pattern has a clean, elegant shape that still feels surprisingly modern
today. Originally designed in Bucilla French Imported Angora, it works beautifully as a lightweight
bridal cover-up, evening wrap, or soft layering piece with a vintage edge.

The pattern is written in one size and was originally made using Aran / 10 ply angora yarn, requiring
about 140g in total. The original Bucilla yarn came in 10g balls with 39 yards (36 meters) per ball.

A great project for knitters who enjoy mid-century design, classic silhouettes, and wearable vintage
pieces that don’t feel overly traditional.
