1940s Tie Neck Blouse Sewing Pattern – Long or Short Sleeves

Price range: £9.99 through £15.99

A very wearable 1940s blouse with neat tucks running down the front and a choice of three different neckline finishes, including a tie neck.

The back can be either tucked or softly gathered, while the sleeves can be made long and full with a narrow turned-back cuff, or short and plain. With the different neckline, back and sleeve options, there is plenty of scope to make the blouse in quite different ways.

Suggested fabrics include rayon (viscose), washing silk, cotton, georgette and linen. A softer fabric such as rayon or georgette would work particularly well for the tie-neck version and the fuller sleeves.

The pattern is for a 36 inch bust.

The pattern comes with step-by-step instructions and a helpful sewing guide.
