This unusual 1940s blouse combines both knitting and crochet in a really interesting way,
giving it a look that’s quite different from the usual patterns of the era. The front and back
are worked in rib before moving into stocking stitch, creating a neat, fitted shape, while
the sleeves begin in knitted rib and then transition to crochet, adding a lovely contrast
in texture.
It’s designed to fit a 32–34 inch bust, with a finished length of approximately 18.5 inches
from the top of the shoulder, and a sleeve seam measuring around 7.5 inches.
