1940s Mock Cable Puff Sleeve Jumper Knitting Pattern | Women’s Vintage Sweater Bust 32–34

This classic 1940s jumper features an all-over mock cable texture, a ribbed yoke, and softly gathered puff sleeves finished with a neat pleat at the shoulder. The back neck opens with four small buttons for an authentic period finish.

Designed to fit a 32–34 inch bust.

Finished measurements: Length from shoulder 18½ in (47 cm), underarm circumference 32 in (81 cm), sleeve length from underarm 6 in (15 cm).

The original pattern was knitted in Patons Beehive Fingering 3-Ply, using approximately 171 g (6 oz) of yarn. You will also need 3 mm and 3.75 mm knitting needles, two stitch holders, and four small buttons.

Tension: 10 stitches (2 mock cable pattern repeats) measure 1⅛ inches (2.9 cm) unstretched.
