1940s Lacy Rib Stockings Knitting Pattern in 3 sizes

Neat stockings in lacy rib worked on two needles.

Measurements : After pressing, stockings are 25 and a half inches long, from top to base
of heel, and foot length can be 8 and a half, 9 or 9 and a half inches.

The original yarn was 4 ozs. (114g) Lee’s Campanula Knitting Wool 3 ply. Or 5 ozs (142g)
for a longer stocking.

Tension: 19 sts. to 2 inches in width and 25 rows to 2 inches in depth measured over the
pattern (after pressing)
