1940s Jumper with Front Yokes Knitting Pattern

Description

A pretty jumper worked in a lace pattern on the front and back, with an opening at the
back neck. The sleeves, welts and pointed yokes are worked in rib.

The original yarn was 4 ozs. (114g) Patons Beehive Fingering 2 ply. A pair each No. 9
(3.75mm) and No. 12 (2.75mm) needles, 2 stitch holders and 6 buttons.

Measurements : Length from top of shoulder 18 inches. Width all round at underarm 32
inches, sleeve seam 6 and a half inches.

Tension: One pattern (8 sts.) to one and a half inches in width.
