1935 Ridged Yoke Sweater Knitting Pattern – 1930s Jumper – Bust 32″

A simple but very attractive sweater from 1935, with a beautifully ridged yoke that gives an otherwise classic fitted jumper its distinctive detail. The long sleeves and neat ribbed waist make it a very wearable 1930s design.

The original was knitted in Golden Eagle Polyknit Fingering-de-Lux 3 ply, using old UK No. 9 and No. 12 needles.

You will need approximately 9 oz (260g) of 3-ply yarn.

To fit: 32 inch bust

Tension: 7 stitches to 1 inch on No. 9 needles.
