Description

A simple yoke jumper worked in three shades of 2 ply wool in an easy rib pattern. There are 6 pieces
in this jumper, front, back, two sleeves and two cuffs. To make the yoke, the stitches are taken up
round the top of the front and back and then the yoke is knitted on two needles, leaving an opening
on the left shoulder.

The original yarn used was 6 ozs. (171g) of 2ply Scotch Fingering in Saxe blue, 1 oz. (29g) each
of Red and beige. 1 pair each of No. 12 (2.75mm) and No. 10 (3.25mm) needles. 12 chrome buttons
about 20mm (3/4″)

TENSION: 9 stitches to 1 inch in width and 10 rows to 1 inch in depth, in the main pattern
on No. 10 (3.25mm) needles.

The sweater will fit a 34 inch Bust
