1930s Peplum Blouse Sewing Pattern – Pleated Front & Square Yoke

A lovely 1930s Misses blouse pattern with two quite different looks, both using the same distinctive square yoke which extends over the shoulders to the back.

Style one has a pleated front with long sleeves, while the second version has short sleeves and an attached three-piece peplum. A matching belt is also included, giving the peplum version that neat, fitted 1930s waistline.

No fabric recommendations were given with the pattern, but a light to medium-light woven fabric would work well. Cotton lawn, viscose/rayon, lightweight crepe or a fine cotton would all be good choices, particularly something with enough drape for the gathered and pleated areas.
