1930s Blouse, Suspender Skirt & Jacket Sewing Pattern – 3 Piece Outfit

A versatile 1930s three-piece outfit comprising a blouse, skirt and jacket, with several variations.

The blouse has front edges faced and rolled with the collar to form revers, optional patch pockets and a choice of long or short sleeves. The four-piece, side-closing skirt is attached to a two-piece dart-fitted yoke and can be made with or without suspenders.

The jacket has a pleated centre back, three-quarter sleeves and patch pockets trimming the fronts.

Suggested fabrics for the blouse include wool jersey and flat crepe for the long-sleeved version, and linen or cotton for the short-sleeved version. The jacket and skirt are suitable for linen, cotton, twill or gabardine.

Size 14, to fit Bust 32″, Waist 27″ and Hip 35″.
