Description

This smartly simple dress allows you to work a monogram in, or you could just leave it out if preferred.
It’s worked in boucle yarn on a circular needle. The blouse and skirt (with overlap) are worked
separately and joined at the making-up stage. The skirt is trimmed with three large buttons down
the side at the overlap, and an extra large button finishes the top.

You will also need a little crochet knowledge for some of the finishing.

The original yarn used was Fleisher’s Crepe Boucle, 15 balls main colour, and 3 balls contrasting colour.
A 29-inch circular needle No. 4 US (3.75mm). A No. 2 (3mm) crochet hook. Three large buttons and one
extra large button. 28 inches of 1/2 inch elastic. Leather belt.

Size to fit: 16 US vintage size, which after checking seems to be a 34 in. Bust

Tension: 13 stitches . and 9 rows to 1 inch
