1930s Haslam Dresscutting No. 12 – Dresses, Lingerie, Nightwear & Separates

Haslam Illustrated Book of Drafting Supplement No. 12 is a particularly varied 1930s collection, covering everyday clothing, tailoring, lingerie and nightwear, together with a selection of designs for children.

The book includes dresses, coats and suits, blouses and skirts, underwear and nightwear, giving a wide choice of garments for creating a 1930s wardrobe.

Unlike many of the individual Haslam design books, No. 12 includes the dress foundation drafting instructions within the booklet, together with sleeve drafts and alternative neckline options. You will still need the Haslam Drafting Boards to work from your own measurements and complete the drafting process.

The designs use the Haslam System of Dresscutting, allowing you to create your chosen garment to your own measurements rather than working from a standard-sized sewing pattern.

Some of the illustrations have been colourised to help show how the finished garments may look when made up; the booklet itself is presented in its original black-and-white format.
