Designed to fit a 38–40 inch bust and 40–42 inch hips, the original pattern uses 11 oz (312 g) of Patons Super or Beehive Non-Shrink Vest Wool, a pair of 3 mm (UK No. 11) knitting needles, plus 1 yard each of elastic and ribbon. The original tension is 8 stitches to 1 inch.
