1930s Lace Yoke Jumper Knitting Pattern – Bust 34

Price range: £3.99 through £5.99

A very pretty jumper from 1938, combining a simple stocking stitch yoke with a delicate lace-patterned body. The contrast between the two stitches gives the jumper plenty of interest, finished with short sleeves, a neat collar and three-button fastening at the neckline.

The original yarn used was 5 oz of Greenock 3-ply Super Fingering. Needles: No. 9 (3.75mm) and No. 11 (3mm), 3 buttons.

To fit a 34 inch bust.

Tension: One 7-stitch repeat of the pattern worked on No. 9 (3.75mm) needles measures 1⅛ inches.
