£2.99£4.99

Description

These pretty Step-ins (cami-knickers) from 1933 are made by crocheting lots of circles and then
stitching them together following the chart provided. They are in 2 ply so are very light and
fitting.

The originals were worked in Black and pink to go under evening wear. But you could make
them in any colour combination that you wanted or just a solid colour if preferred.

The original yarn used was Paton’s Beehive or Super Scotch Fingering a total of 5ozs in
one colour or 3ozs each if worked in two colours. Worked on a No. 5 “Inox” crochet hook.
You will need ribbon for the shoulder straps and press-studs for under the crotch.

MEASUREMENTS. 34 bust

The hooks and needles mentioned are old UK, so I’ve added a chart to help convert to
US and metric
