1930s Bow Neck Jumper Knitting Pattern – Bust 34

A very pretty mid-1930s jumper with one of those distinctive details that makes the period so recognisable. It has a fitted shape, long sleeves and an all-over fancy stitch, finished with a large knitted bow at the neckline.

The bow is held neatly in place with decorative glass buttons across the shoulders, giving an otherwise simple jumper a particularly attractive finish.

The original pattern used Patons Super or Beehive Scotch Fingering 3 Ply. You will need approximately 8 oz (230g) of 3-ply fingering yarn.

To fit: 34 inch bust
Tension: Approximately 7 stitches to 1 inch.
