1950s Circular Skirt Dress Sewing Pattern – Pockets & Belt

A 1950s one-piece dress with a sleeveless bodice, rounded neckline and a four-panel circular skirt joining at the natural waist.

The front bodice buttons down to the top of the skirt, while two large patch pockets add a practical period detail. A matching fabric belt finishes the waist.

Linen, chambray, seersucker, gingham and other light to medium-weight woven fabrics would all work well for this design. Soft denim or fine-wale corduroy could also be used for a slightly more structured version.

The pattern is sized to fit a 34″ (86 cm) bust and 37″ (94 cm) hip.
