1950s Lined Wrap Coat Sewing Pattern – Half Cuffs & Optional Fur Collar

This mid-1950s sewing pattern is for a lined wrap-style coat with straight sleeves, half cuffs and button detailing.

The coat can be made with or without the optional fur collar, giving two different finishes from the same pattern. The simple wrap front and cuffed sleeves give the coat its characteristic 1950s shape.

Suitable fabrics include coating fabrics, tweed and heavy woollens that have enough body to hold the structure of the coat.

The pattern is drafted for a 36-inch bust, 30-inch waist and 39-inch hip and is best suited to an intermediate sewer.
