1950s Crossover Blouse Knitting Pattern – Bust 32–36

This 1950s knitting pattern is for a crossover blouse worked mainly in stocking stitch with ribbed welts.

The crossover front gives the blouse its distinctive shape, while the straightforward stitch pattern keeps the knitting relatively simple.

Originally designed for 3-ply yarn, the blouse is worked on old UK No. 10 (3.25 mm) needles.

Three sizes are included, to fit bust measurements of 32, 34 and 36 inches.

The stated tension is 7 stitches and 10 rows to one inch.
