1930s Ribbed Jumper Knitting Pattern – Bust 34-36

The ribbed design gives the jumper a slimming line and the novel yoke effect is created by
using two contrasting colours. It has a front neck opening closed with two covered buttons
to match the contrasting colours.

Size to fit: 34-36 inch bust

The original wool used was 9 ozs. (256g) Copley’s Curlaine Wool in dark blue, 1 oz. (29g)
each of light blue and pink. A pair each No. 12 (2.75mm) and No. 9 (3.75mm) needles.
A No. 12 (2.75mm) crochet hook. 2 Button moulds.

TENSION: 7 sts. in width and 9 rows in depth to an inch
