1960s Shirtwaist Dress Sewing Pattern – Patch Pockets & Belt, Bust 36

This vintage sewing pattern is for a shirtwaist dress with a gathered skirt, patch pockets and matching belt.

The skirt is gathered into the bodice at the waist, and there is a choice of three-quarter length sleeves or a sleeveless version. Patch pockets finish the skirt, while the self-fabric belt draws in the waist.

Suitable fabrics include linen, cotton, lightweight denim and rayon or viscose, as well as similar light to medium-weight woven fabrics.

The pattern is drafted for a 36-inch bust and 27-inch waist.
