1950s Chunky Fair Isle Ski Sweater Knitting Pattern

This chunky knit sweater dates from the late 1950s to early 1960s and features a classic yoke
design typical of the era. The original pattern was worked in Pennine Jiffy Knit using No. 5
and No. 6 needles. As this yarn is no longer available, the needle sizes suggest a chunky
weight yarn would give the closest modern equivalent.

The yoke is worked using a circular needle and double-pointed needles, so this pattern is
