Vintage 1930s Swagger Coat Sewing Pattern – Bust 36″

This elegant Swagger-style coat from the 1930s captures the effortless sophistication
of the era. The design features a straight fit with a classic round yoke and buttonholes
at the mitred fronts. The original pattern was unlined, but it’s simple enough that you
could easily add a full lining if desired.

The pattern has been carefully re-drafted in its original size, 36-inch bust, preserving
the authentic 1930s silhouette and construction details. As with many early patterns,
no seam allowances are included, so these will need to be added when cutting out.

The instructions are brief so a sewing guide is provided to help you through each
step.

You will need approximately 1⅞ yards of 54-inch (1.56 metres of 137 cm) wide fabric.
