A beautifully styled 1930s knitting pattern for a complete outfit, featuring a tunic dress
with matching skirt and a cap-style hat finished with a generous bow at the back. The
silhouette is simple but striking, with that neat, tailored look that defines the era and
still feels effortlessly wearable today.
The set was originally worked in Minerva Boucle, a lace weight yarn, using 2.25 mm
circular needles. It does take a little patience to get comfortable knitting in the round
with such a fine yarn, so it’s best suited to those with some experience, but the finished
result has a lovely, texture that really brings the design to life.
Sized to fit a 34–36 inch bust, with a tension of 7 stitches per inch, the pattern includes
all the details needed to recreate the full ensemble, from the dress to the distinctive hat.
