1960s Nordic Sweater Knitting Pattern – Men’s & Women’s DK

This 1960s knitting pattern is for Nordic-style sweaters in both men’s and women’s sizes, worked in double knitting yarn.

The colourwork gives the sweaters their distinctive Nordic look, while the construction itself is fairly straightforward and should be manageable for anyone with some experience of knitting garments and working a patterned design.

The men’s sweater is designed to fit a 40–42 inch chest, with an actual finished measurement of approximately 46 inches.

The women’s sweater fits a 34–36 inch bust, with an actual finished measurement of approximately 39 inches.

Both versions are knitted in DK yarn.
