1950s French Pussy Bow Blouse Sewing Pattern – Draped Neck & Kimono Sleeves

This vintage French sewing pattern is for a blouse with a softly draped neckline which extends into a pussy-bow tie at the front.

The blouse has three-quarter length kimono sleeves and is particularly suited to fabrics with enough drape to form the neckline and bow without becoming bulky.

Suitable fabrics include satin, silk, lightweight viscose or rayon and similar softly draping woven fabrics, either plain or printed.

The pattern is marked Taille 40, approximately a 32–33 inch bust. As vintage French sizing can vary, this measurement should be treated as a guide and making a toile or mock-up before cutting your final fabric is recommended.

Seam allowances are not included on the pattern pieces and must be added when cutting out.
