1940s Wartime Cami-Knickers Knitting Pattern Bust 32–34

Cami-knickers were a practical addition to many 1940s wardrobes, combining a camisole and knickers into a single comfortable garment. This design is worked in two main pieces with a separate gusset, while the waist is knitted on finer needles to create a firmer fit. The shoulder straps are finished with ribbon, and the gusset fastens with three small buttons.

The original pattern uses approximately 3 oz (85 g) of 2-ply yarn and is knitted on No. 8, 10 and 12 knitting needles. You will also need a medium-size crochet hook, three small buttons for the gusset, and ribbon for the shoulder straps.

The finished garment is designed to fit a 32–34 inch bust, with a side length of approximately 22 inches.
