1940s Rainbow Striped Sweater Knitting Pattern Bust 34

Pretty 1940’s sweater knitted in white with rainbow stripes. Worked in stocking stitch with
ribbed edges and neck.

The original yarn used was: 9 ozs. (256g) of Diana Non-shrink knitting 3 ply. 4 ozs. (114g) in
white, and 5 x 1 oz (29g) balls of various colours. A pair each No. 11 (3mm) and No. 7 (4.5mm)
needles. A stitch holder and 2 buttons.

Measurements to fit: Length from top of shoulder 18.5 inches Width all around at underarm
34 inches, Length of sleeve from underarm 5.5 inches
