A pretty jumper worked in moss stitch stripes using two contrasting colours. The edges are
finished with ribbed borders. The front features small button moulds covered with crocheted
circles made in different shades of wool to coordinate with the herringbone embroidery
worked on the wider stripes.
Finished Measurements
To fit 32–34 inch bust, length from top of shoulders, 19 inches, sleeve seam, 5 inches.
Materials Required
6 ozs. (171g) Patons Beehive Fingering 3 ply, 3 ozs. (86g) each of contrasting colours. Small
amounts of different coloured wools for herringbone embroidery and crochet cover buttons.
Ten small white cover buttons. A pair No. 9 (3.75mm) needles, a medium sized crochet hook.
Tension
7-1/2 stitches to an inch, unpressed.
