1934 Yoked Jumper with Bows Knitting Pattern – Two Colour Design

Price range: £3.99 through £5.99

A sweet little jumper from 1934, worked in two contrasting colours with a softly shaped yoke, short sleeves and two small knitted bows at the front. The main stitch pattern is formed by repeating just one row, making it easy to remember, while the shaping is worked in plain knitting so there is no need to alter the pattern as you go. The yoke is worked separately on four needles.

The original pattern calls for 4 oz (114g) of Lister’s “Lislama” 2 ply crochet wool in the main colour and 1½ oz (43g) of white. You will also need UK No. 13 (2.25mm) and No. 10 (3.25mm) knitting needles, plus a set of four UK No. 10 (3.25mm) needles for working the yoke.

Please see the listing images for the original tension, measurements and further pattern details.
