1930s Tailored Collared Jumper Knitting Pattern – Bust 34–35″

A lovely 1930s jumper with a distinctly tailored look, featuring neat revers, a V-neckline and tiny puff sleeves. The fitted waist and smart collar give it a particularly elegant shape while still keeping the design simple and wearable.

To fit a 34–35 inch bust.

The original yarn used was 6 oz (approx. 170g) of Patons Super Crepe, worked on No. 9 (3.75mm) and No. 11 (3mm) knitting needles.

I haven’t been able to find a reliable modern equivalent for the original yarn. Judging by the tension it may be around a modern 3 or 4 ply, but I would recommend choosing your yarn by tension and knitting a tension square before buying the full amount.

Tension is 7 stitches to 1 inch over the plain knitting using No. 9 (3.75mm) needles, after light pressing.
