1930s Semi-Fitted Blouse Sewing Pattern – Two Styles

Price range: £10.49 through £19.99

A lovely 1930s blouse pattern with two quite different styles, giving you the choice of a smart everyday blouse or something softer and more decorative.

Style 1 is semi-fitted with front and back yokes, with soft gathers where the bodice joins the yoke and again at the waist. It has a square neckline, buttoned front and a choice of long or short sleeves.

Style 2 has tucks at the front and back shoulders and waist for a more fitted shape. It fastens with a small opening at the centre back and a slide fastener at the left side. The front is finished with a lace-trimmed jabot and bow, with short tucked sleeves.

The pattern is for a 38 inch bust.

Suggested fabrics for Style 1 include crepe, crepe satin, silk, cottons and wool jersey.

For Style 2, suitable fabrics include plain or printed organdie, georgette, crepe de chine, sheer cottons, cotton voile and taffeta.
