1930s Cable-Stitch Sweater Knitting Pattern Bust 32-35

Cable-stitch is so attractive worked in fine soft wool for this jumper. The square collar,
buttoned down at each corner, is out-of-the-ordinary and very smart. The original jumper
is blue, woven with a hint of white to soften the effect.

The original wool used was 7 ozs. (200g) Patons Super or Scotch Fingering 2ply.
A pair each No. 12 (2.75mm) and No. 9 (3.75mm) needles. A cable needle and
4 buttons.
