1920s Flapper Dress & Coat French Sewing Pattern Bust 38-40

These two elegant designs are adapted from a much-loved 1924 French multi-draft it
yourself pattern. They have been carefully recreated as full sized patterns.

The dress features a long-sleeved bodice with a wrap-around skirt made up of two
graceful layers, while the matching coat is a fully lined, double-breasted wrap style
trimmed with fur for a true 1920s look.

Instructions are concise, just one page in French with an English translation, and
are best suited to experienced dressmakers with a solid understanding of pattern
drafting and garment construction.

The pattern is marked Taille 46, approximately 38–40 inch bust, with no seam
allowances included. This allows flexibility to adjust the fit slightly smaller or
larger as needed.

There are no specific fabric recommendations in the original pattern, but a wool
or wool-blend fabric is ideal for the coat, while pongee, silk, or anti-static lining
materials would provide a suitable finish.
