1930s Haslam Dresscutting No. 1 & 2 – Dresses, Coats & Sportswear

Haslam Dresscutting Design Books No. 1 & 2 date from 1930–32 and contain a particularly good selection of early 1930s fashions.

The designs include dresses and tailored coats, together with tennis dresses and a smart jacket-and-skirt ensemble, giving a lovely cross-section of everyday, sporting and more tailored styles from the beginning of the decade.

The designs are created using the Haslam System of Dresscutting, allowing you to draft your chosen garment to your own measurements rather than working from a standard-sized sewing pattern.

To use the designs you will need the Haslam Foundation Drafting Instructions and Drafting Boards. These are used to prepare your personal foundation before adapting it with the drafting instructions for your chosen design.
