1930s Knitted Skirt Suit Pattern – Women’s Tailored Bouclé Wool Two-Piece with Shawl Collar Jacket

collar that tapers into a ribbed, cinched waist, finished with a buckle. The matching skirt
is worked in two pieces and fastens neatly with a zip.

The original design used 24 ounces (682 g) of Paton’s Super Bouclet Wool, with No. 10
(3.25 mm) and No. 8 (4 mm) needles, and a No. 13 (2.25 mm) crochet hook. Finishing
details include a buckle and one press stud for the jacket, and a Petersham waistband,
a 7-inch (17.8 cm) zip, and two hooks and eyes for the skirt.

The jacket measures 36 inches (91.4 cm) at the bust and the skirt 39 inches (99.1 cm)
at the hip. Tension is 6.5 stitches per inch.

• Bust: 32 inches (measured at underarms)
• Length from shoulder: 18.5 inches
• Sleeve seam: 18.5 inches
