1940s Haslam Dresscutting Lingerie No. 11 – Underwear, Maternity & Pyjamas

Haslam Illustrated Book of Drafting for Lingerie No. 11 is a varied 1940s collection covering lingerie, practical separates and maternity wear, together with nightwear for men.

The designs include petticoats and French knickers, skirts and blouses, maternity garments and trousers, together with men’s pyjamas. It is an interesting mix of underwear, everyday clothing and practical designs rather than a lingerie collection alone.

The garments are created using the Haslam System of Dresscutting, allowing you to draft your chosen design to individual measurements rather than working from a standard-sized sewing pattern.

To use the designs you will need the Haslam Foundation Drafting Instructions and Drafting Boards. These provide the foundation needed to draft and adapt the designs within the book.
