1930s Two-Tone Roll Neck Sweater Knitting Pattern

Price range: £3.99 through £5.99

A stylish little 1930s sweater knitted in two contrasting shades of green, with an unusual ribbed design that converges at the neckline and finishes in a soft, comfortable roll collar.

The two-tone effect really makes this sweater stand out, although it would look just as lovely in any combination of colours you fancy. A pretty, fitted style that would work beautifully with skirts or trousers.

The original yarn used was Ramada 3-ply, with 4 oz (approx. 115g) of the darker shade and 2 oz (approx. 60g) of the lighter shade.

Tension: 6½ stitches and 8 rows to 1 inch (2.5cm).

As with all vintage knitting patterns, it’s worth making a tension square before starting, particularly if substituting a modern yarn.
